No. 1 of 1952. AGRICULTURAL WAGES (MINIMUM RATES) (FEMALE WORKERS) ORDER, 1952. The Agricultural Wages Board, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 17 of the Agricultural Wages Act, 1936 (No. 53 of 1936), and of every and any other power them in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows :— 1.—
(1)This Order may be cited as the Agricultural Wages (Minimum Rates) (Female Workers) Order, 1952.
(2)This Order shall come into operation on the 4th day of February,
- The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.
- In this Order— the word " week " means any period of seven consecutive days.
- The minimum rates of wages in respect of the wages district consisting of the county borough of Dublin and the administrative county of Dublin for the class of agricultural workers mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereto are hereby fixed at the rates specified in the second, third, fourth and fifth columns of the said Schedule. SCHEDULE Class of Agricultural Workers Rate per week in which 48 hours work is done (exclusive of work on Sunday) Rate per hour for work done in any week in which less than 48 hours work is done (exclusive of work on Sunday) Overtime Rate per hour payable for any time worked in any week in excess of 48 hours (exclusive of work on Sunday) Rate per hour for work done on Sunday
