The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Supplies and Services (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1946 (No 22 of 1946), hereby order as follows : 1. This Order may be cited as the Emergency Powers (Nos. 247 and 342) Orders (Revocation) Order, 1952. 2.

(1)The following Orders are hereby revoked : (
  1. a)the Emergency Powers (No. 247) Order, 1942 (S. R. & O., No. 545 of 1942), (
  2. b)the Emergency Powers (No. 247) Order, 1942 (Second Amendment) Order, 1946 (S. R. & O., No. 278 of 1946), (
  3. c)the Emergency Powers (No. 342) Order, 1944 (S.R. & O.' No. 272 of 1944).

(1)of this Article shall come into operation on the 1st day of October,
