(5)of section 25 of the Electoral Act, 1923 (No. 12 of 1923), and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling, hereby orders as follows : 1.
(1)This Order may be cited as the Returning Officers' (Borough and County Constituencies) Bye-Election Charges Order, 1952.
(2)The Returning Officers' (Borough and County Constituencies) Bye-Election Charges Orders, 1938 and 1948, and this Order may be cited together as the Returning Officers' (Borough and County Constituencies) Bye-Election Charges Orders, 1938 to
  2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.
  3. The Schedule to the Returning Officers' (Borough and County Constituencies) Bye-Election Charges Order, 1938 (S. R. & O., No. 142 of 1938), as amended by the Returning Officers' (Borough and County Constituencies) Bye-Election Charges Order, 1948 ( S.I. No. 416 of 1948 ), is hereby further amended by the substitution in subparagraph (iv) of a reference to £42 for the reference to £35 and of a reference to 12s. for the reference to 10s.
