No. 349 of 1952. MILK (RETAIL PRICE) (DUBLIN SALE DISTRICT) (No. 2) ORDER, 1952. I, SEÁN F. LEMASS, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the joint operation of Section 52 of the Milk (Regulation of Supply and Price) Act, 1936 (No. 43 of 1936), and of the Minister for Supplies (Transfer of Functions under Section 52 of the Milk (Regulation of Supply and Price) Act, 1936 ) Order, 1941 (S. R. & O., No. 29 of 1941), and of the Minister for Supplies (Transfer of Functions) Act, 1945 (No. 21 of 1945), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, do hereby order as follows, that is to say :— 1.

(1)This Order may be cited as the Milk (Retail Price) (Dublin Sale District) (No. 2) Order, 1952.
(2)This Order shall come into operation on the 9th day of December, 1952. 2. In this Order—
(1)the expression " the Dublin Sale District " means the area consisting of the county borough of Dublin, the administrative county of Dublin and the urban district of Bray ;
(2)the expression " bottled milk " means milk placed in receptacles at a wholesaler's or retailer's premises and sold retail in such receptacles ;
(3)the expression " fresh milk " has the meaning attached to it in the Milk and Dairies Act, 1935 (No. 22 of 1935) and the regulations made thereunder ;
(4)the expression " highest grade milk " means milk which is Highest Grade Milk within the meaning of the Milk and Dairies (Special Designations) Regulations, 1938 and 1939 ;
(5)references to selling shall be construed as including references to agreeing or offering to sell. 3. The maximum prices at which fresh milk (other than highest grade milk) of the kinds hereinafter specified may be sold retail in any place in the Dublin Sale District shall be prices calculated at the following rates— (
  1. a)bottled milk if delivered to the purchaser otherwise than at the vendor's premises during the period commencing on the 9th day of December, 1952 and ending on the 30th day of April, 1953—6d. per pint ; (
  2. b)milk other than bottled milk, if sold otherwise than at the vendor's premises or if sold at the vendor's premises on terms that delivery thereof is to be made by the vendor otherwise than at the vendor's premises— (
  3. i)during the period commencing on the 9th day of December, 1952 and ending on the 31st day of March, 1953—5½d. per pint ; (
  4. ii)during the period of one month commencing on the 1st day of April, 1953—5d. per pint ; (
  5. c)milk other than bottled milk, if sold at the vendor's premises upon terms that delivery is to be taken thereat— (
  6. i)during the period of four months commencing on the 1st day of December, 1952—5d. per pint ; (
  7. ii)during the period of one month commencing on the 1st day of April, 1953—4¾d. per pint. 4. The Milk (Retail Price) (Dublin Sale District) Order, 1952 ( S.I.
