Acts Referred to National Stud Act, 1945 No. 31 of 1945 Number 8 of 1953. NATIONAL STUD ACT, 1953. AN ACT TO AMEND AND EXTEND THE NATIONAL STUD ACT, 1945 . [25th March, 1953.] BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS AS FOLLOWS:— Interpretation. 1.—
(1)In this Act “the Principal Act” means the National Stud Act, 1945 (No. 31 of 1945).
(2)The Principal Act and this Act shall be construed together as one Act. Increase of share capital of the Company. 2.—The share capital of the Company is hereby increased to five hundred thousand pounds, and subsection
(2)of section 11 of the Principal Act shall accordingly have effect with the substitution of a reference to that sum for the reference to two hundred and fifty thousand pounds. Bloodstock accounts. 3.—The Company shall keep, in such form and in such manner as the Minister for Agriculture, after consultation with the Minister for Finance, may from time to time direct, accounts showing the receipts from the issue of share capital for the purchase of bloodstock and the proceeds of the sale of any bloodstock together with the manner in which such moneys have been dealt with. Repeal. 4.—Section 26 of the Principal Act is hereby repealed. Short title and collective citation. 5.—
(1)This Act may be cited as the National Stud Act, 1953.
(2)The Principal Act and this Act may be cited together as the National Stud Acts, 1945 and 1953.
