LEMASS, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers vested in me by section 12 of the Trade Loans (Guarantee) Act, 1939 (No. 5 of 1939), and with the consent of the Minister for Finance, signified by his Official Seal affixed hereto, hereby make the following regulations :— 1. These regulations may be cited as the Trade Loans Regulations, 1953. 2. The fees to be paid for the purposes of Section 5 of the Trade Loans (Guarantee) Act, 1939 , shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto, in lieu of those heretofore prescribed. SCHEDULE 1. A payment of three pounds in respect of each application for a guarantee or loan. 2. A fee in respect of each guarantee given or loan granted under the Act of an amount equal to the sum of the following :— (
4. a)an amount calculated at the rate of one-half of one per centum of the amount guaranteed or loaned; (
5. b)an amount calculated at the rate of one per centum on the first two thousand pounds of the guarantee or loan and at the rate of one-tenth of one per centum on the balance in excess of two thousand pounds thereof, or the amount of fifty pounds, whichever is the lesser amount.
