PROHIBITION OF IMPORT (DRIED OR POWDERED MILK) ORDER, 1953. I, THOMAS WALSH, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection

(1)of section 29 of the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) Act, 1935 (No. 21 of 1935), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows : 1. This Order may be cited as the Prohibition of Import (Dried or Powdered Milk) Order, 1953. 2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order? 3. The importation into the State on or after the 16th day of February, 1953, of dried or powdered milk is hereby prohibited. 4. Article 3 of this Order shall not apply— (
  1. a)to dried or powdered milk which has been treated by way of processing or the addition of any other substance, or (
  2. b)in a case in which the quantity of dried or powdered milk imported does not exceed five pounds in weight. GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 13th day of February, 1953.
