REGISTRATION OF BIRTHS AND DEATHS (IRELAND) ACT, 1863, AND ADOPTION ACT, 1952 (ADAPTATION) ORDER, 1954. The Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 109 of the Health Act, 1947 (No. 28 of 1947), hereby orders as follows :— 1. This Order may be cited as the Registration of Births and Deaths (Ireland) Act, 1863, and Adoption Act, 1952 (Adaptation) Order, 1954. 2. In section 18 of the Registration of Births and Deaths (Ireland) Act, 1863, as adapted by section 89 of the Public Assistance Act, 1939 , the words " dispensary district within the meaning of section 51 of the Health Act, 1953 " shall be substituted for the words " dispensary district of a public assistance district ". 3. The following adaptations shall be made in the Adoption Act 1952 (No. 25 of 1952) ; (
4. a)in section 23 the words " or a health authority " shall be inserted after the words " public assistance authority ". (
