COUNTY BOROUGH OF DUBLIN (NUMBER OF WARDS) ORDER, 1954. The Minister for Local Government, in exercise of the powers vested in him by sub-articles
(1)and
(3)of Article 31 of the Local Government (Application of Enactments) Order, 1898, and of every other power in this behalf enabling him, hereby orders as follows :—
- This Order may be cited as the County Borough of Dublin (Number of Wards) Order,
- The number of wards into which the County Borough of Dublin shall be divided is hereby fixed at forty-two.
- Michael B. Lawless, Principal Officer of the Department of Local Government, is hereby appointed to be the Commissioner to prepare a scheme for determining the boundaries of the said wards.
