AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS (RESTRICTION OF EXPORT) ORDER, 1954. I, JAMES M. DILLON, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Agricultural and Fishery Products (Regulation of Export) Act, 1947 (No. 18 of 1947), hereby order as follows : 1.—

(1)(This Order may be cited as the Agricultural Products (Restriction of Export) Order, 1954.
(2)The Principal Order and this Order may be cited together as the Agricultural Products (Restriction of Export) Orders, 1953 and 1954.
(3)This Order shall come into operation on the 9th day of December,
  2. In this Order " the Principal Order " means the Agricultural Products (Restriction of Export) Order, 1953 ( S.I. No. 234 of 1953 ).
  3. Article 2 of the Principal Order is hereby amended by the insertion in paragraph 2 after " Great Britain " of " or the Isle of Man ".
  4. Article 3 of the Principal Order is hereby amended by the addition of the following paragraph : "
(4)As respects the articles specified in paragraphs 6, 7, 8, 14, 15, 16, 17, 22 and 23 of the said Schedule, this Order does not apply where the articles are being exported by parcel post."
  1. Part I of the Schedule to the Principal Order is hereby amended by the deletion of paragraphs 12, 13 and 19 and by the addition of the following paragraph : " 20A. Veal."
  2. Part II of the Schedule to the Principal Order is hereby amended by the addition of the following paragraphs : "
  3. Beef, excluding veal.
