KILDARE COUNTY COUNCIL (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1954. The Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by subsection

(7)of section 33 of the Local Government Act, 1941 , hereby orders as follows :— 1.—
(1)The County of Kildare shall be divided into the county electoral areas named in column one of the Schedule to this Order.
(2)Every such county electoral area shall consist of the places set forth in the second column of the Schedule to this Order opposite to the name of such county electoral area.
(3)The number of members of the Council of the County of Kildare to be elected for each such county electoral area shall be the number set forth in the third column of the Schedule to this Order opposite to the name of such county electoral area.
  1. Every reference in the Schedule to this Order to a district electoral division, urban district, town or townland shall be construed as referring to such district electoral division, urban district, town or townland as constituted at the date of this Order.
  2. The Kildare County Council (Amendment) Order, 1945 is hereby revoked. 4.—
(1)This Order may be cited as the Kildare County Council (Amendment) Order, 1954.
(2)This Order and the Kildare County Council Orders, 1942 and 1943 shall be construed as one and may be cited together as the Kildare County Council Orders, 1942 to 1954. SCHEDULE.
