AmendmentsLeasuithe S.I. No. 245 of 1955. MILK (RETAIL PRICE) (CORK SALE DISTRICT) ORDER, 1955 (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1955. I, WILLIAM NORTON, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the joint operation of section 52 of the Milk (Regulation of Supply and Price) Act, 1936 (No. 43 of 1936), and of the Minister for Supplies (Transfer of Functions under section 52 of the Milk (Regulation of Supply and Price) Act, 1936 ) Order, 1941 ( S. R. & O. No. 29 of 1941 ), and of the Minister for Supplies (Transfer of Functions) Act, 1945 (No. 21 of 1945), hereby order as follows :— 1.—
(1)This Order may be cited as the Milk (Retail Price) (Cork Sale District) Order, 1955 (Amendment) Order, 1955.
(2)This Order shall come into operation on the 7th day of December, 1955. 2. In this Order—
(1)the expression "the principal Order" means the Milk (Retail Price) (Cork Sale District) Order, 1955 ( S.I. No. 72 of 1955 );
(2)the expression "pasteurised milk" means milk pasteurised in accordance with a licence issued under the Milk and Dairies (Special Designations) Regulations, 1938 and 1939. 3.—
(1)The provisions of Article 3 of the Principal Order shall not apply to pasteurised milk.
(2)The maximum price at which pasteurised milk may be sold retail in any place in the Cork Sale District during the period commencing on the 7th day of December, 1955, and ending on the 30th day of April, 1956, shall be a price calculated at the rate of 6d. per pint.
