CONTROL OF IMPORTS (QUOTA No. 45) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1957. The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Control of Imports Acts, 1934 and 1937, hereby order as follows : 1. This Order may be cited as the Control of Imports (Quota No. 45) (Amendment) Order, 1957. 2. This Order shall come into operation on the 12th day of July, 1957. 3. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order. 4. The Control of Imports (Quota No. 45) Order, 1949 ( S.I. No. 330 of 1949 ), is hereby amended by the insertion in paragraph 3 of Part II of the Schedule thereto after " piece goods " of " (other than cloth of a type ordinarily used in the manufacture of men's or boys' pyjamas) ".
