I, PATRICK SMITH, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 6 of the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Act, 1933 (No. 7 of 1933), and after consultation with the Minister for Industry and Commerce, hereby make the following regulations : 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Millable Wheat Regulations, 1958. 2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to these Regulations. 3. The standard to which wheat must conform in order to be classed as millable shall be as follows, that is to say, such wheat must be— (
- a)commercially clean, and (
- b)in sound and sweet condition. 4. The Millable Wheat Regulations, 1933 ( S. R. & O. No. 100 of 1933 ), are hereby revoked. GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 15th day of October, 1958. PATRICK SMITH, Minister for Agriculture. EXPLANATORY NOTE. The Order fixes a standard for millable wheat and revokes the Millable Wheat Regulations, 1933.
