LEMASS, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Customs-Free Airport Act, 1947 (No. 5 of 1947), and with the concurrence of the Minister for Finance, hereby order as follows :— 1.—
(1)This Order may be cited as the Customs-Free Airport (Variation of Limits) Order, 1958.
(2)The Principal Order and this Order may be cited together as the Customs-Free Airport (Limits) Orders, 1917 and
- In this Order— " the Principal Order " means the Customs-Free Airport Order, 1947 ( S.I. No. 114 of 1947 ), " the 1958 map " means the map annexed hereto, " the 1958 plan " means the plan annexed hereto, " the 1958 Customs areas " means the areas indicated on the 1958 map by being bordered by a red line and hatched in red and on the 1958 plan by being bordered by a red line.
- Article 4 of this Order shall come into operation at 3 p.m. on the 31st day of December,
- The Principal Order shall have effect as if— (a) Article 4, in lieu of defining as therein stated the outer limit of the Customs-free airport, defined that limit as being a line in the position indicated by the outer margin of the red line marked ABCDEFG on the 1958 map and, in lieu of defining its inner limit, defined its inner limits as being the boundaries of the 1958 Customs areas, and (b) the reference in paragraph
(1)of Article 5 to the exception of the Customs area were a reference to the exception of the 1958 Customs areas. GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 22nd day of December,
