No. 70/1958 - Great Northern Railway Board (Drogheda-Oldcastle Railway Line) (Termination of Passenger Services) Order, 1958. AmendmentsLeasuithe WHEREAS the Great Northern Railway Board applied on the 15th day of November, 1957, to the Transport Tribunal for an Order pursuant to Section 24 of the Great Northern Railway Act, 1953 (No. 17 or 1953) in respect of the railway line between Drogheda and Oldcastle and the service of trains thereon as specified in the Schedule hereto : AND WHEREAS notice of the said proposal was duly published by the Board as provided by subsection 2 of the said section : AND WHEREAS the Minister for Industry and Commerce transmitted to the said Tribunal the objections duly received by him : AND WHEREAS the said Tribunal held a Sitting for hearing the said objectors and the Board on the 21st day of February, 1958, due notice whereof was given to the said parties : AND WHEREAS after hearing at the said Sitting such of the said objectors as attended before them and also the Board the said Tribunal decided to make the Order applied for without any modification and without any limitation on the period of its operation : NOW, WE, THE TRANSPORT TRIBUNAL, in exercise of the powers conferred on us by subsection
(7)of Section 24 of the Great Northern Railway Act, 1953 (No. 17 of 1953) hereby order as follows :—
- This Order may be cited as the Great Northern Railway Board (Drogheda-Oldcastle Railway Line) (Termination of Passenger Services) Order,
- This Order shall come into operation on the 14th day of April,
- The Great Northern Railway Board is hereby authorised to terminate the service of trains specified in the Schedule hereto : SCHEDULE. The service of trains for passengers on the railway line between Drogheda in the County of Louth and Oldcastle in the County of Meath. Dated this 19th day of March,
