No. 145 of 1959. IMPOSITION OF DUTIES (No. 75) (DISINFECTANTS, ETC.) ORDER, 1959. The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 1 of the Imposition of Duties Act, 1957 (No. 7 of 1957), hereby order as follows : 1. This Order may be cited as the Imposition of Duties (No. 75) (Disinfectants, etc.) Order, 1959. 2. The duty of customs imposed by the Emergency Imposition of Duties (No. 330) (Disinfectants, etc.) Order, 1954 ( S.I. No. 106 of 1954 ), shall, as respects articles imported on or after the 1st day of September, 1959, be varied by— (
4. a)the insertion in paragraph 3 (inserted by the Imposition of Duties (No. 24) (Flypapers and Flycatchers) Order, 1958 ( S.I. No. 77 of 1958 )) of that Order after subparagraph (
5. a)of the following subparagraph, namely : " (
6. aa)any article which is in solid form, consists wholly or partly of paradichlorobenzene or naphthalene, is ordinarily used as a disinfectant, insecticide, deodorant, air-freshener or insect-repellant, and is not otherwise liable to the duty imposed by this Order, but excluding articles which are in flake, powder or granular form," and (

8. a)of paragraph 4 and in subparagraph (
9. a)of paragraph 5A (which paragraphs were inserted by the said Imposition of Duties (No. 24) (Flypapers and Flycatchers) Order, 1958) of that Order after " subparagraphs (

The duty of customs imposed by section 22 of the Finance Act, 1932 (No. 20 of 1932), shall, as respects articles imported on or after the 1st day of September, 1959, be varied by the insertion after subparagraph (iii) (inserted by the said Imposition of Duties (No. 24) (Flypapers and Flycatchers) Order, 1958) of paragraph (
