No. 65 of 1959. SUSPENSION OF DUTY ON ISINGLASS AND EDIBLE GELATINE ORDER, 1959. I, SÉAMAS Ó RIAIN, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the Imposition of Duties Act, 1957 (No. 7 of 1957), and with the consent of the Minister for Industry and Commerce, hereby order as follows : 1. This Order may be cited as the Suspension of Duty on Isinglass and Edible Gelatine Order, 1959. 2. The duty of customs imposed by the Emergency Imposition of Duties (No. 283) (Glue, Gelatine and Size) Order, 1952 ( S.I. No. 186 of 1952 ), shall not be charged or levied on— (
4. a)isinglass in solid form, or (
5. b)edible gelatine in solid form, which is imported on or after the 24th day of April, 1959, and before the 31st day of October, 1959. GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 17th day of April, 1959. SÉAMAS Ó RIAIN. The Minister for Industry and Commerce hereby consents to the making of the foregoing Order. The effect of the above Order is to exempt from customs duty isinglass and edible gelatine in solid form which is imported before 31st October, 1959.
