RIVER ERNE (SPECIAL LOCAL LICENCES) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1959. I, ERSKINE H. CHILDERS, Minister for Lands, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection

(5)(as amended by section 17 of the Fisheries (Amendment) Act, 1958 (No. 15 of 1958)) and subsection
(6)of section 4 of the Fisheries (Tidal Waters) Act, 1934 (No. 24 of 1934), and the Fisheries (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1957 ( S.I. No. 67 of 1957 ), hereby, with the consent of the Minister for Finance, order as follows :—
  1. This Order may be cited as the River Erne (Special Local Licences) (Amendment) Order,
  3. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.
  4. The River Erne (Special Local Licences) Order, 1934 ( S. R. & O. No. 178 of 1934 ), is hereby amended by the substitution for Article 4, as amended by Article 3 of the River Erne (Special Local Licences) (Amendment) Order, 1935 ( S. R. & O. No. 40 of 1935 ), of the following :— " 4.—
(1)The licence duty to be paid in respect of every special local licence to use a draft net granted under the authority of this Order shall be £ 20.
(2)Subject to paragraph
(3)of this Article, the licence duty to be paid in respect of every special local licence to fish for salmon with a single rod and line granted under the authority of this Order shall be £ 3.
(3)Where a special local licence to fish for salmon with a single rod and line is granted under the authority of this Order for any year to a person to whom a salmon rod (annual) ordinary licence or a salmon rod (annual) (district) ordinary licence has been granted for that year, the licence duty payable in respect of such special local licence shall be reduced by fifty shillings.
(4)In paragraph
(3)of this Article " salmon rod (annual) ordinary licence " and " salmon rod (annual) (district) ordinary licence " have the meaning assigned to those expressions by section 3 of the Fisheries (Amendment) Act, 1958 (No. 15 of 1958)." GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 22nd day of May,
