CENTRAL BANK OF IRELAND (FORM OF STATEMENT OF ACCOUNTS) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1960. I, SÉAMAS Ó RIAIN, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 35 of the Currency Act, 1927 (No. 32 of 1927), as adapted by section 11 of the Central Bank Act, 1942 (No. 22 of 1942), and after consultation with the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Ireland, hereby make the following regulations : 1.
(1)These Regulations may be cited as the Central Bank of Ireland (Form of Statement of Accounts) (Amendment) Regulations, 1960.
(2)The Central Bank of Ireland (Form of Statement of Accounts) Regulations, 1943 to 1959, and these Regulations may be cited together as the Central Bank of Ireland (Form of Statement of Accounts) Regulations, 1943 to
- The form of balance sheet set out in the Schedule to these Regulations is hereby substituted for that which, by virtue of the Central Bank of Ireland (Form of Statement of Accounts) (Amendment) Regulations, 1957 ( S.I. No. 86 of 1957 ), is set out under the heading " B.—Balance Sheet " in Part I of the Schedule to the Central Bank of Ireland (Form of Statement of Accounts) Regulations, 1943 ( S. R. & O. No. 94 of 1943 ). SCHEDULE. Liabilities Assets £ s. d. £ s. d. Notes outstanding as at 31st March, 19 Gold Money in any form which is for the time being legal tender in Great Britain for unlimited amounts British Government securities Sterling balances on current or deposit account at the London Agency or any Bank in Great Britain or Northern Ireland Currency and securities of the Federal Government of the United States of America Irish Government Security for advances under subsection
