CUSTOMS-FREE AIRPORT (ROAD TRAFFIC) REGULATIONS, 1960. I, ERSKINE H. CHILDERS, Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 13 of the Customs-free Airport Act, 1947 (No. 5 of 1947) (as amended by section 11 of the Customs-free Airport (Amendment) Act, 1958 (No. 29 of 1958)) and the Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1959 ), with the consent of the Minister for Finance, hereby make the following regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Customs-free Airport (Road Traffic) Regulations, 1960. 2. A person driving a vehicle shall not stop the vehicle within the Customs-free Airport for the purpose of setting down or taking up passengers or goods except at the following places: (
4. a)the area of the Industrial Estate, (
5. b)the oil depots, (
6. c)the area of the fire station, (
7. d)the cargo terminal, (
8. e)the terminal building, (
9. f)the place known as the Camp. 3. The Customs-free Airport (Road Traffic) Regulations, 1947 ( S. R. & O. No. 117 of 1947 ), are hereby revoked. EXPLANATORY NOTE These Regulations prescribe the places at which vehicles may stop within the Customs-free Airport for the purposes of setting down or taking up passengers or goods. These places are in lieu of those prescribed by the Customs-free Airport (Road Traffic) Regulations 1947 ( S. R. & O. No. 117 of 1947 ) which have been revoked.
