  2. I, OSCAR TRAYNOR, Minister for Justice, in exercise

the powers conferred on me by section 3

the Continuation

Compensation Schemes Act, 1946 (No. 19

1946), as amended by section 4

the Continuation

Compensation Schemes Act, 1946 (Amendment) Act, 1949 (No. 15

1949), and with the consent

the Minister for Finance, hereby make the following Scheme:

  1. This Scheme may be cited as the Local Security Force (Compensation for Personal Injuries) Scheme, 1943 (Third Amendment) Scheme,
  3. This Scheme shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 1st day

August,

  2. The Local Security Force (Compensation for Personal Injuries) Scheme, 1943 (S.R. & O. No., 135

1943), is hereby amended by— (a) the substitution in paragraphs

(1)and
(2)

Article 8

"ninety shillings" for "fifty shillings" (inserted by the Local Security Force (Compensation for Personal Injuries) Scheme, 1943 (Second Amendment) Scheme, 1949 ( S.I. No. 270

1949 ), (b) the deletion

Article 9

  1. c)the substitution in paragraph (
  2. b)and, in both places where it occurs, in paragraph (c)
