CHILDERS, Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 7 of the Gas Regulation Act, 1920, as amended by section 12 of the Gas Regulation Act, 1928 (No. 24 of 1928) and section 15 of the Gas Regulation Act, 1957 (No. 26 of 1957), and the Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1959 ), hereby prescribe as follows :— 1. This Order may be cited as the Gas Fund (Contribution) Order, 1960. 2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937) applies to this Order. 3. The rate at which the contribution to the gas fund shall be payable for the year 1960 shall be three shillings and three pence for each million cubic feet of gas sold during the year 1959. 4. Such contribution shall be paid on or before the 30th day of June, 1960, by cheque or money order made payable to the Accountant, Department of Transport and Power, Kildare Street, Dublin. This Order fixes the rate of the contribution to be made, for the year 1960, by certain gas undertakings, to the Gas Fund established under section 7 of the Gas Regulation Act, 1920.
