AmendmentsLeasuithe S.I. No. 134 of 1961. PIGS AND BACON (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1961 (COMMENCEMENT) (No. 2) ORDER, 1961. I, PATRICK SMITH, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Pigs and Bacon (Amendment) Act, 1961 (No. 14 of 1961), hereby order as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Pigs and Bacon (Amendment) Act, 1961 (Commencement) (No. 2) Order, 1961. 2. The 1st day of August, 1961, is hereby fixed as the day on which the Pigs and Bacon (Amendment) Act, 1961 (No. 14 of 7961), other than those sections which came into operation by virtue of the Pigs and Bacon (Amendment) Act, 1961 (Commencement of Sections 7, 8, 9 and 31) Order, 1961 ( S.I. No. 116 of 1961 ) and sections 16, 77 and 33, shall come into operation. GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 5th day of July, 1961. PATRICK SMITH, Minister for Agriculture. EXPLANATORY NOTE. This is a second Commencement Order under the Pigs and Bacon (Amendment) Act, 1961 , bringing into operation on 1st August, 1961, the remaining Sections of the Act other than Sections 16, 17 and 33.
