RIVER ERNE (SPECIAL LOCAL LICENCE DUTY) (METHOD OF PAYMENT) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1961. I, MICHEÁL Ó MÓRÁIN, Minister for Lands, in exercise of the power conferred on me by subsection
(3)of section 77 of the Fisheries (Consolidation) Act, 1959 (No. 14 of 1959), hereby order as follows:— 1.
(1)This Order may be cited as the River Erne (Special Local Licence Duty) (Method of Payment) (Amendment) Order, 1961.
(2)This Order shall come into operation on the 7th day of August,
- The River Erne (Special Local Licence Duty) (Method of Payment) Order, 1938 (S.R. & O., No. 15 of 1938), shall not have effect in relation to the licence duty payable under the River Erne (Special Local Licences) Order, 1934 (S.R. & O., No. 178 of 1934), as amended, in respect of a special local licence to use a draft net in the tidal waters of the River Erne. - MICHEÁL Ó MÓRÁIN, Minister for Lands EXPLANATORY NOTE This Order suspends the operation of the Order of 1938, as amended, which enabled payment of special local licence duty to be made by instalments. The effect is that the full amount of licence duty is payable on application for a special local licence in respect of the tidal waters of the River Erne.
