WIRELESS (RECEIVING LICENCES) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1961. I, MICHAEL HILLIARD, Minister for Posts and Telegraphs, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection
(1)of section 6 of the Wireless Telegraphy Act, 1926 (No. 45 of 1926), and with the consent of the Minister for Finance, hereby make the following Regulations: 1.
(1)These Regulations may be cited as the Wireless (Receiving Licences) (Amendment) Regulations, 1961.
(2)The Wireless (Receiving Licences) Regulations, 1937 (S. R. & O.,No. 261 of 1937), the Wireless (Receiving Licences) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations, 1949 ( S.I. No. 282 of 1949 ), and these Regulations may be cited together as the Wireless (Receiving Licences) Regulations, 1937 to 1961.
(3)These Regulations shall come into operation on the 1st day of September,
- The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to these Regulations.
- Paragraph
(1)of Regulation 6 of the Wireless (Receiving Licences) Regulations, 1937 (S. R. & O.,No. 261 of 1937), is hereby amended by the substitution of "one pound" for "seventeen shillings and sixpence" (inserted by paragraph 4 of the Wireless {Receiving Licences) (Amendment) (No. 3) Regulations, 1953 ( S.I. No. 55 of 1953 )).
- The Wireless (Receiving Licences) (Amendment) (No. 3) Regulations, 1953, are hereby revoked. GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 14th day of August,
