HARBOUR RATES (LIMERICK HARBOUR) ORDER, 1961. I, ERSKINE H. CHILDERS, Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 104 of the Harbours Act, 1946 (No. 9 of 1946), and the Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1959 ), and after due compliance with section 106 of the said Act, hereby order as follows: 1.

(1)This Order may be cited as the Harbour Rates (Limerick Harbour) Order, 1961.
(2)This Order shall come into operation on the 15th day of September, 1961. 2. The Harbour Rates (Limerick Harbour) Order, 1942 (S.R. & O., No. 469 of 1942), shall have effect as if— (
  1. a)" Cement clinker " were inserted in the first column of the First Schedule, (
  2. b)" per ton " were inserted in the second column of that Schedule opposite the mention of cement clinker in the said first column, (
  3. c)" O 8 " were inserted in the third column of that Schedule opposite the mention of cement clinker in the said first column, and (
  4. d)" O 4 " were inserted in the fourth column of that Schedule opposite the mention of cement clinker in the said first column. 3. Neither the Harbour Rates (Limerick Harbour) Order, 1953 ( S.I. No. 356 of 1953 ), nor the Harbour Rates (Limerick Harbour) Order, 1958 ( S.I. No. 113 of 1958 ), shall apply in relation to the maximum goods rates to be charged by the Limerick Harbour Commissioners in the case of cement clinker.
