ROAD VEHICLES (INDEX MARKS) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1961. The Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 12 of the Roads Act, 1920, hereby makes the following Regulations:— 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Road Vehicles (Index Marks) (Amendment) Regulations, 1961. 2. The Schedule to the Road Vehicles (Index Marks) Regulations, 1958 ( S.I. No. 14 of 1958 ) shall be amended by the insertion in the second column of the said Schedule of the following index marks:— (
  4. a)AZD, BZD, CZD, DZD, EZD, FZD, GZD, HZD, IZD, JZD, KZD, LZD, MZD, NZD, OZD, PZD, RZD, SZD, TZD, UZD, VZD, WZD, XZD and YZD opposite the Council of the County of Dublin and the Right Honourable the Lord Mayor, Aldermen and Burgesses of Dublin; (
  5. b)AZB, BZB, CZB, DZB, EZB, FZB, GZB, HZB, IZB, JZB, KZB, LZB, MZB, NZB, OZB, PZB, RZB, SZB, TZB, UZB, VZB, WZB, XZB and YZB opposite the Council of the County of Cork; (

These Regulations prescribe additional index marks for motor vehicles registered by the Council of the County of Dublin and Dublin Corporation and by the Councils of the Counties of Cork, Donegal, Kerry, Kildare, Limerick, Mayo, Meath, Roscommon and Tipperary South Riding.
