No. 47 of 1961. DAIRY PRODUCE MARKETING ACT, 1961 (NOMINATION DAY) REGULATIONS, 1961. WHEREAS the year in which the establishment day for the purposes of the Dairy Produce Marketing Act, 1961 (No. 1 of 1961), falls is declared by section 7 of that Act to be a nomination year for the purposes of that Act ; AND WHEREAS the establishment day for the purposes of that Act falls in the year 1961 ; AND WHEREAS the Minister for Agriculture is empowered by section 7 of that Act to prescribe by regulations a day in each nomination year to be, for the purposes of that Act, a nomination day in that nomination year ; NOW, I, PATRICK SMITH, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 7 of the Dairy Produce Marketing Act, 1961 (No. 1 of 1961), hereby make the following regulations : 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Dairy Produce Marketing Act, 1961 (Nomination Day) Regulations, 1961. 2. The 12th day of April, 1961 is hereby prescribed as the nomination day for the purposes of the Dairy Produce Marketing Act, 1961 (No. 1 of 1961), in the year 1961. GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 3rd day of March, 1961. PATRICK SMITH, Minister for Agriculture. EXPLANATORY NOTE. The effect of these Regulations is that during the period from 12th March, 1961 to the 11th April, 1961, persons may be nominated or proposed for nomination as members of An Bord Bainne.
