CONTROL OF IMPORTS (QUOTA NO. 13) (WOVEN WOOLLEN AND SYNTHETIC AND ARTIFICIAL FABRICS) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1962. The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Control of Imports Acts, 1934 and 1937, hereby order as follows : 1. This Order may be cited as the Control of Imports (Quota No. 13) (Woven Woollen and Synthetic and Artificial Fabrics) (Amendment) Order, 1962. 2. This Order shall come into operation on the 6th day of February, 1962. 3. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937) applies to this Order. 4. Part 1 of the Schedule (inserted by the Control of Imports (Quota No. 13) (Woven Woollen and Synthetic and Artificial Fabrics) (Amendment) Order, 1954 ( S.I. No. 227 of 1954 )) to the Control of Imports (Quota No. 13) Order, 1935 ( S. R. & O. No. 59 of 1935 ), is hereby amended by the insertion after "Woven fabrics (other than floor coverings)" of ", including those which are combined by adhesion with a layer or layers of expanded foam or sponge material, either of natural rubber or of synthetic material,". The effect of the amendment is to bring within the scope of the Control of Imports (Quota No. 13) Order, 1935 certain foam-backed materials.
