COUNTY KILDARE (DISPENSARY DISTRICTS) ORDER, 1962. The Minister for Health in exercise of the powers conferred on him by subsection
(2)of section 51 of the Health Act, 1953 (No. 26 of 1953) hereby orders as follows :— 1. This Order may be cited as the County Kildare (Dispensary Districts) Order, 1962. 2. The division of County Kildare into dispensary districts shall be varied as follows :— (
- a)The dispensary districts of Moone and Fontstown shall be abolished; (
- b)The dispensary districts of Athy, Castledermot, Monasterevan, Kildare, Naas, Ballymore-Eustace and Kilcullen shall be varied as follows :— (
- i)The townlands of Ballybarney, Lipstown Upper, Lipstown Lower, Lipstown, Blackrath, Killeen, Narraghmore Demense, Narraghmore, Inchaquire, Annalough, Rahoonbeak, Ballintaggart, Colbinstown, Ballyadams, Battlemount, Boleybeg, Crookstown Lower, Crookstown Upper, Crookstown East, Moyleabbey, Spratstown, Mullamast, Ballitore, Portersize, Timolin and Moone heretofore forming part of Moone Dispensary District shall henceforth form part of Athy Dispensary District; (
- ii)The townlands of Belan, Bolton, Simmonstown West, Simmonstown East, Glebe, Commonstown, Killelan, Newtown (in the district electoral division of Carrigeen), Coolrake, Collin, Hobartstown West, Hobartstown East, Grangeford, Sheriffhill, Marshalstown, Aylmerstown, Davidstown, Davidstown Demense, Hughstown, Ballyvass, Ballynacarrick Lower, Ballynacarrick Upper, Corballis, Glowens, Carrigeen North, Carrigeen South, Carrigeen Hill and Tankardstown heretofore forming part of Moone Dispensary District shall henceforth form part of Castledermot Dispensary District. (iii) The townlands of Grangerosnolvan, Grangerosnolvan Lower and Grangerosnolvan Upper shall be transferred from Castledermot Dispensary District to Athy Dispensary District; (
- iv)The townlands of Bushypark, Coolyphullagh, Fearaun, Boleybeg, Boley Great, Boley Little, Kilboggan, Chapelfarm, Millfarm (in the district electoral division of Kilrush), Borough, Derrynine, Taunrush, Castlefarm (in the district electoral division of Kilrush), Castlefarm (in the district electoral division of Fontstown), Rock, Rathconnellwood, Rathconnell, Elone, Rathsillagh Lower, Rathsillagh Upper, Kilrush, Greatrath, Hillfarm, Loughabor, Ardellis Lower, Ardellis Upper, Fontstown Upper, Fontstown Lower, Ballynagussaun, Tinnakill, Skerries North, Skerries South, Ballynabarna, Rathgrumly, Youngstown, Ardnagross, Kilmead, Monatore, Oldgrange, Lynamsgarden and Glassely heretofore forming part of Fontstown Dispensary District shall henceforth form part of Athy Dispensary District; (
- v)The townlands of Blackditch, Nurneybog, Nurney, Nurney Demense, Kildoon, Mylerstown, Balkinstown, Boghall, Clarey, Gorteen Upper, Gorteen Lower and Cloneybeg heretofore forming part of Fontstown Dispensary District shall henceforth form part of Monasterevan Dispensary District; (
- vi)The townlands of Ironhills, Eaglehill and Newtown heretofore forming part of Fontstown Dispensary District shall henceforth form part of Kildare Dispensary District; (vii) The townlands of Martinstown, Crockaun, Thomastown, Moortown Castle, Crawnglass, Racefield, Ballyshannon, Ballyshannon Demense, Carrighill Upper, Carrighill Lower, Calverstown, Calverstown Demense, Calverstown Little, Mullaghmoyne West, Mullaghmoyne East, Whitehouse, Tippeenan. Upper, Tippeenan Lower, Wevil, Davidstown, Bullhill and Blackhall heretofore forming part of Fontstown Dispensary District shall henceforth form part of Kilcullen Dispensary District; (viii) The townlands of Brownstown Lower and Brownstown Great shall be transferred from Kilcullen Dispensary District to Kildare Dispensary District. (
- ix)The townlands of Flemingtown South or Tonaphuca, Coghlanstown West, Gaganstown, Ardinode West, Ballybought, Alliganstown, Coldwells, Whiteleas and Boleybeg shall be transferred from Kilcullen Dispensary District to Ballymore-Eustace Dispensary District. (
- x)The townlands of Bawnoge, Tipperkevin, Morganstown, Swordlestown South, Sillagh and Donode Big and the townland of Walshestown (in the District Electoral Division of Killashee and at present forming part of the Naas Dispensary District) shall be transferred from Naas Dispensary District to Ballymore-Eustace Dispensary District. 3. This Order shall come into operation on the Tenth day of September, 1962. GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Minister for Health this Eighth day of August One Thousand Nine Hundred and Sixty-two. SEÁN MACENTEE, Minister for Health. EXPLANATORY NOTE. The effect of this Order will be to vary the division of County Kildare into dispensary districts by the abolition of Moone and Fontstown dispensary districts and the addition of the area heretofore comprising the Moone and Fontstown dispensary districts in part to each of the dispensary districts of Athy, Kildare, Kilcullen, Castledermot and Monasterevan. The Order will also effect other minor alterations in the dispensary districts of Castledermot, Athy, Kilcullen, Kildare, Naas and Ballymore-Eustace.
