CORONERS ACT, 1962 (PARTICULARS FOR REGISTRATION OF DEATH) REGULATIONS, 1962 I, CHARLES J. HAUGHEY, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection
(1)of section 3 of the Coroners Act, 1962 (No. 9 of 1962), after consultation with the Minister for Health, hereby make the following regulations :
- These Regualtions may be cited as the Coroners Act, 1962 (Particulars for Registration of Death) Regulations,
- Every certificate to be issued by a coroner for the registration of a death in accordance with section 50 of the Coroners Act, 1962 (No. 9 of 1962) shall contain the following particulars— (a) in the case of a certificate under subsection
(1); (
- i)date of death, (
- ii)place of death, (iii) name, surname and home address of deceased, (
- iv)sex of deceased, (
- v)whether deceased was married, widowed or single, (
- vi)age of deceased (in hours if under one day; in completed days if under one month ; in completed months if under one year ; otherwise in completed years at last birthday), (vii) occupation of deceased (in full detail) and where deceased was a married or widowed woman, occupation of husband, (viii) cause of death and duration of last illness ; and (
- b)in the case of a certificate under subsection
(2); (
- i)date of death, (
