(6)) (NO. 3) ORDER, 1963. I, ERSKINE H. CHILDERS, Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection
(6)of section 14 of the Transport Act, 1958 (No. 19 of 1958), as amended by section 19 of the Transport Act, 1963 (No. 17 of 1963), and the Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1959 ), hereby order as follows : 1. This Order may be cited as the Transport Act, 1958 (Section 14
(6)) (No. 3) Order,
  2. The following orders, that is to say : (a) the Transport Act, 1958 (Section 14
(6)) Order, 1958 ( S.I. No. 249 of 1958 ), (b) the Transport Act, 1958 (Section 14
(6)) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 135 of 1959 ), (c) the Transport Act, 1958 (Section 14
(6)) (No. 2) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 166 of 1959 ), (d) the Transport Act, 1958 (Section 14
(6)) (No. 3) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 167 of 1959 ), (
  1. e)the Transport Act, 1958 (Extension of Section 14 to Certain Employees of Córas Iompair Éireann) Order, 1960 ( S.I. No. 37 of 1960 ), (

No. 36 of 1963 ), are hereby amended by the substitution in Article 3 of each order of " the period beginning on the 16th day of July, 1958, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1964 " for " the period of five years ending on the 15th day of July, 1963 ". 3. The Transport Act, 1958 (Section 14
(6)) (No. 2) Order, 1963 ( S.I. No. 103 of 1963 ), is hereby amended by the substitution in Article 3 of " 31st day of March, 1964 " for " 15th day of July, 1963 ". GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 16th day of July, 1963. ERSKINE H. CHILDERS, Minister for Transport and Power. EXPLANATORY NOTE. The purpose of the Order is to continue until 31st March, 1964, the validity of certain Orders made under Section 14
(6)of the Transport Act, 1958 , extending the redundancy compensation provisions of that Act to redundancy arising from schemes for the re-organisation of various Departments of C.I.E.
