ROAD TRAFFIC (WEIGHBRIDGES) REGULATIONS, 1963. The Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 5 and 15 of the Road Traffic Act, 1961 (No. 24 of 1961) hereby makes the following Regulations:— 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Road Traffic (Weighbridges) Regulations, 1963. 2. Where a road authority declare a weighbridge to be an appointed weighbridge for the purposes of the Road Traffic Act, 1961 , they shall publish in at least two newspapers circulating in their functional area notice that such weighbridge has been so declared. These Regulations prescribe the notice to be given by a road authority on declaring a weighbridge an appointed weighbridge for the purposes of the Road Traffic Act, 1961 .
