ELECTORAL ACT, 1963 (COMMENCEMENT) (NO. 2) ORDER, 1963. The Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by subsection

(2)of section 1 of the Electoral Act, 1963 (No. 19 of 1963) hereby orders as follows:—
  1. This Order may be cited as the Electoral Act, 1963 (Commencement) (No. 2) Order,
  3. The 9th day of December, 1963 is hereby fixed as the day on which Parts III, IV, V, VII and VIII of and the Second, Third and Fourth Schedules to the Electoral Act, 1963 , shall come into operation.
  4. Section 3 of the said Act shall come into operation on the 9th day of December, 1963 for the purpose of effecting the repeal of the enactments which are specified in the Schedule to this Order to the extent mentioned in the third column of that Schedule.
