PUBLIC HEALTH (IRELAND) ACT, 1878 (SECTION 103) COUNTY HEALTH DISTRICT OF LIMERICK ORDER, 1964. The Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers vested in him by section 1 of the Public Health (Ireland) Act, 1896 hereby declares and orders as follows:— 1. This Order may be cited as the Public Health (Ireland) Act, 1878 (Section 103) County Health District of Limerick Order, 1964. 2. The provisions of section 103 of the Public Health (Ireland) Act, 1878 shall be in force within the limits or boundaries of the County Health District of Limerick and the Council of the County of Limerick are hereby invested with all the powers rights duties capacities liabilities and obligations of an urban district council under the said section 103 of the said Act to be exercised and attach within the said limits and boundaries. GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Minister for Local Government this twenty-eight day of January, 1964. NEIL T. BLANEY, Minister for Local Government. EXPLANATORY NOTE. The effect of this Order is to declare in force in the County Health District of Limerick section 103 of the Public Health (Ireland) Act, 1878, (which relates to the provision of markets) and to invest Limerick County Council with the functions and duties of an urban district council under that section.
