No. 132 of 1964. GREYHOUND RACE TRACK (TOTALISATOR) (PERCENTAGE) REGULATIONS, 1964 Bord na gCon, in exercise of the powers conferred in it by subsection
(2)of Section 40 and by subsection
(3)of Section 5 of the Greyhound Industry Act, 1958 (No. 12 of 1958), and with the consent of the Minister for Agriculture, hereby makes the following regulations, that is to say:—
- The Greyhound Race Track (Totalisator) (Percentage) Regulations, 1960 (No. 67 of 1960), are hereby revoked.
- The sums and levies to be collected by the Board for the time being out of moneys staked by means of totalisators maintained by the Board shall be twelve and a half per cent. of the net total of the moneys so staked after deduction of refundable withdrawn or cancelled stakes, together with any undistributed fractions of threepence remaining after the declaration of totalisator dividends in accordance with the Greyhound Race Track (Totalisator) (Operating) Regulations,
- These regulations may be cited as the Greyhound Race Track (Totalisator) (Percentage) Regulations,
- These regulations shall come into operation on the 15th day of June,

- EXPLANATORY NOTE The effect of these regulations is to fix the amount which the Board may retain out of moneys staked on totalisators operated by the Board at twelve and a half per cent. from 15th June,
