No. 164 of 1964. LAND REGISTRY AND REGISTRY OF DEEDS (HOURS OF BUSINESS) ORDER, 1964. I, CHARLES J. HAUGHEY, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection
(4)of section 126 of the Registration of Title Act, 1964 (No. 16 of 1964), hereby order as follows :
- This Order may be cited as the Land Registry and Registry of Deeds (Hours of Business) Order,
- 2.—
(1)The Land Registry and the Registry of Deeds shall be open to the public daily, except on Saturdays, Sundays and the following days, namely, St. Patrick's Day (or the day kept as a holiday in lieu thereof), Good Friday, Easter Monday, Whit Monday, the first Monday in August, Christmas Day, St. Stephen's Day (or the day kept as a holiday in lieu thereof) and the next following working day.
(2)The hours during which they shall be open to the public shall be— (
- a)Land Registry : from 10.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. ; (
- b)Registry of Deeds : from 10 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 6th day of July, 1964. CHARLES J. HAUGHEY, Minister for Justice. EXPLANATORY NOTE. This Order prescribes the days and hours during which the Land Registry and Registry of Deeds shall be open for public business.
