The Government, in exercise of the power conferred on them by section 3 of the Transport (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1955 (No. 21 of 1955), hereby order as follows : 1. This Order may be cited as the Carriage of Commodities Order, 1965. 2. During the period commencing on the 23rd day of June, 1965, and ending on the 29th day of June, 1965, section 9 of the Road Transport Act, 1933 (which restricts the carriage of merchandise by unlicensed persons) shall not apply to the carriage of a commodity specified in the Schedule to this Order. SCHEDULE. 1. Live animals 2. Animal products 3. Vegetable products, including cereals 4. Animal fats and oils and their products 5. Vegetable fats and oils and their products 6. Prepared edible fats 7. Animal and vegetable waxes 8. Foodstuffs 9. Beverages, including spirits, beer, cider and perry 10. Tobacco, including cigarettes 11. Minerals and mineral products, including petroleum oils, fuel, gas 12. Products of the chemical and allied industries 13. Artificial resins and plastic materials and articles thereof 14. Cellulose esters and ethers and articles thereof 15. Rubber, synthetic rubber, and articles thereof 16. Raw hides and skins, leather, furskins and articles thereof 17. Saddlery and harness 18. Travel goods, handbags and similar containers 19. Articles of gut 20. Wood and articles of wood 21. Wood charcoal 22. Cork and articles of cork 23. Manufactures of straw, esparto and other plaiting materials 24. Basketware and wickerwork 25. Paper making material 26. Paper, paperboard and articles thereof 27. Building materials 28.
