AmendmentsLeasuithe S.I. No. 282 of 1966. NATIONAL BONDS, 1966-77 (DRAWS FOR REDEMPTION) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1966. I, CHARLES J. HAUGHEY, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 4 of the Central Fund Act, 1965 (No. 4 of 1965), hereby make the following regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the National Bonds, 1966—77 (Draws for Redemption) (Amendment) Regulations, 1966. 2. In these Regulations— "the Principal Regulations" means the National Bonds, 1966—77 (Draws for Redemption) Regulations, 1966 ( S.I. No. 56 of 1966 ); "bonds" means National Bonds, 1966—1977; "draw" means a drawing of bonds pursuant to the Principal Regulations. 3. When the receptacle referred to in Regulation 5 of the Principal Regulations is opened for the draw to be held in the year 1967, the discs provided in pursuance of those Regulations in respect of bonds issued during the year 1966 shall, before the draw begins, be added to the discs contained in the receptacle and mixed with them. 4. With respect to that and every subsequent draw, the reference in Regulation 6 of the Principal Regulations to discs representing 313 bonds shall be construed as a reference to discs representing 363 bonds. Paragraph 4 of the Prospectus dated 3rd May, 1966 for National Bonds, 1966—77 provided that the annual draw for the redemption of Bonds issued in accordance with that Prospectus would be amalgamated with the draw for the National Bonds, 1966—77 already existing. These Regulations provide for the amalgamation of the relevant draws.
