1. PERIODICAL LOTTERIES REGULATIONS,
2. I, WILLIAM P. QUINN, Commissioner

the Garda Síochána, in exercise

the powers conferred on me by section 50

the Gaming and Lotteries Act, 1956 (No. 2

1956), and with the consent

the Minister for Justice, hereby make the following regulations : 1.—

1961 ), and these Regulations may be cited as the Periodical Lotteries Regulations, 1961 and 1966. 2. These Regulations apply to a lottery in respect

which— (a) the sale or allocation

chances, the determination

prizewinners and the presentation

the prizes take place on the same occasion, and (b) the determination

those participating in the lottery. 3. The Periodical Lotteries Regulations, 1961 ( S.I. No. 212

1961 ), shall, as respects a lottery to which these Regulations apply, have effect as if subparagraphs (f) and (g)

4. Two or more lotteries to which these Regulations apply and which are conducted under the same licence on the same occasion shall be deemed for the purposes

lottery and they exempt the holders

licences for such lotteries from the requirements
