FOOT AND MOUTH DISEASE (IMPORTATION OF ANIMALS) ORDER, 1967. I, NEIL T. BLANEY, Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 11 and 30 of the Diseases of Animals Act, 1966 (No. 6 of 1966), hereby order as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Foot and Mouth Disease (Importation of Animals) Order, 1967. 2. This Order shall come into force on the 15th day of November, 1967. 3. The import from Great Britain, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man or the Continent of Europe of any animal is hereby prohibited unless such animal is imported under and in accordance with a licence granted in that behalf by the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries and such licence is, at the time of importation, delivered to the proper officer of Customs and Excise. 4. Nothing in this Order shall be construed as affecting the operation of the Orders set out in the Schedule to this Order. 5. For the purpose of extending the application of sections 13 , 30 , 42 , 46 and 51 of the Diseases of Animals Act, 1966 (No. 6 of 1966), and all other sections (including sections relating to offences and legal proceedings) containing provisions relative to or consequent on those sections, the First Schedule to that Act is hereby amended by the insertion at the end of Part 1 thereof of the following: "10.
