No. 254 of 1967. RESTRICTION OF IMPORTS (FERTILISERS FROM EAST GERMANY) ORDER, 1967. The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2 of the Restriction of Imports Act, 1962 (No. 20 of 1962), hereby order as follows:— 1.
(1)This Order may be cited as the Restriction of Imports (Fertilisers from East Germany) Order, 1967.
(2)This Order shall come into operation on the 30th day of November,
- The importation of fertilisers of a kind classified in Chapter 31 of the Schedule to the Imposition of Duties (No. 159) (Customs Duties and Form of Customs Tariff) Order, 1966 ( S.I. No. 132 of 1966 .), and manufactured or produced in or consigned from East Germany, save under and in accordance with a licence issued by the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries under section 3 of the Restriction of Imports Act, 1962 , is hereby prohibited.
- The Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries may, if he so thinks proper, prescribe by regulations provisions in accordance with which it shall be determined for the purpose of the Order whether fertilisers were manufactured or produced in East Germany.
