CUSTOMS-FREE AIRPORT (VARIATION OF LIMITS) ORDER, 1967. I, ERSKINE H. CHILDERS, Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Customs-free Airport Act, 1947 (No. 5 of 1947), and the Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1959 ), and with the concurrence of the Minister for Finance, hereby order as follows:— 1.
(1)This Order may be cited as the Customs-free Airport (Variation of Limits) Order, 1967.
(2)The Customs-free Airport (Limits) Orders, 1947 and 1958, and this Order may be cited together as the Customs-free Airport (Limits) Orders, 1947 to
- In this Order— " the 1966 map " means the map annexed hereto; " the 1966 plan " means the plan annexed hereto; " the 1966 Customs areas " means the areas indicated on the 1966 plan by being bordered by red lines marked JKLMNOPQRS and TUVW but excluding the area marked " EXCLUDED " on the said plan.
- Article 4 of this Order shall come into operation at 3 p.m. on the 28th day of February,
- The Customs-free Airport Order, 1947 ( S. R. & O. No. 114 of 1947 ), shall have effect as if— (a) Article 4 were deleted; (b) paragraph
(1)of Article 5, in lieu of declaring the land therein referred to to be the Customs-free airport for the purposes of the Customs-free Airport Act, 1947 (No. 5 of 1947), declared the land enclosed within the following limits to bethe Customs-free airport for the said purposes, namely, the area enclosed by the red line marked ABCDEFGH on the 1966 map, excluding the areas thereon marked " Customs Areas " but including the area excluded from the 1966 Customs areas by virtue of Article 2 of this Order.
