MONEY ORDER AMENDMENT (No. 18) REGULATIONS, 1968. I, JOHN LYNCH, Minister for Finance, on the representation of the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs, made in exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Posts and Telegraphs (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order, 1967 ( S.I. No. 158 of 1967 ), as testified by his signature hereon, and in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 23 and 82 of the Post Office Act, 1908, hereby make the following regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Money Order Amendment (No. 18) Regulations, 1968. 2. These Regulations shall come into operation on the 1st day of January, 1969. 3. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to these Regulations. 4. The Money Order Regulations, 1903, are hereby amended by the substitution of the following table for Table A of Regulation 18

(1)(inserted by the Money Order Amendment (No. 17) Regulations, 1964 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1964 )) which sets out the poundage payable in respect of inland money orders: " A In respect of inland money orders: Poundage for an amount not exceeding £50 ... 2s. 6d. for an amount exceeding £50 but not exceeding £75 ... ... ... ... 2s. 9d. for an amount exceeding £75 but not exceeding £100 ... ... ... ... 3s. 0d."
