AmendmentsLeasuithe S.I. No. 57 of 1968. GENERAL INSTITUTIONAL AND SPECIALIST SERVICES (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1968. The Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 5 of the Health Act, 1947 (No. 28 of 1947) and section 22 of the Health Act, 1953 (No. 26 of 1953) as amended by Section 2 of the Health Act, 1954 (No. 23 of 1954) hereby makes the following Regulations:— 1. These Regulations may be cited as the General Institutional and Specialist Services (Amendment) Regulations, 1968. 2. Article 5 of the General Institutional and Specialist Services (Amendment) Regulations, 1956 ( S.I. No. 43 of 1956 ) shall be amended by the deletion of paragraph (
4. b)thereof and the substitution therefor of the following:— "(
5. b)Any person who is on the relevant date a voluntary contributor as respects whom not less than twenty-four voluntary contributions have been paid for the contribution year before the relevant date or not less than seventy-two voluntary contributions have been paid for the three contribution years before the relevant date". These Regulations prescribe the number of voluntary contributions which a voluntary contributor requires, to establish entitlement to certain health services available under the Health Act, 1953 .
