HARBOUR RATES (DUNDALK HARBOUR) ORDER, 1969. I, ERSKINE H. CHILDERS, Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 104 of the Harbours Act, 1946 (No. 9 of 1946), and the Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1959 ), and after due compliance with section 106 of that Act, hereby order as follows : 1.
(1)This Order may be cited as the Harbour Rates (Dundalk Harbour) Order, 1969.
(2)This Order shall come into operation on the 16th day of July,
- Section 43 of the Dundalk Harbour and Port Act, 1925 (No. 3 (Private) of 1925), shall have effect as if for " one shilling and six pence " (inserted by the Harbour Rates (Dundalk Harbour) Order, 1962 ( S.I. No. 69 of 1962 )) there were substituted " three shillings ".
- The Harbour Rates (Dundalk Harbour) Order, 1962, is hereby revoked. GIVEN under my Official Seal this 2nd day of July,
- ERSKINE H. CHILDERS, Minister for Transport and Power. EXPLANATORY NOTE. The effect of this Order is to authorise the Dundalk Harbour Commissioners to charge a revised maximum tonnage rate at Dundalk Harbour.
