No. 154 of 1969. DAIRY PRODUCE MARKETING ACT, 1961 (NOMINATION DAY) REGULATIONS, 1969. WHEREAS the year in which the establishment day for the purposes of the Dairy Produce Marketing Act, 1961 (No. I of 1961), fell and each fourth successive year thereafter were declared by section 7 of that Act to be nomination years for the purposes of that Act; AND WHEREAS the establishment day for the purposes of that Act fell in the year 1961; AND WHEREAS the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries is empowered by section 7 of that Act to prescribe by regulations a day in each nomination year to be, for the purposes of that Act, a nomination day in that nomination year; NOW, I, NEIL T. BLANEY, Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 7 of the Dairy Produce Marketing Act, 1961 (No. 1 of 1961), as adapted by the Agriculture (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1965 ( S.I. No. 146 of 1965 ), hereby make the following regulations :— 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Dairy Produce Marketing Act, 1961 (Nomination Day) Regulations, 1969. 2. The 5th day of September, 1969, is hereby prescribed as the nomination day for the purposes of the Dairy Produce Marketing Act, 1961 (No. 1 of 1961), in the year 1969. GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 1st day of August, 1969. NEIL T. BLANEY, Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries. EXPLANATORY NOTE. The effect of these Regulations is that during the period from 5th August, 1969 to the 4th September, 1969, persons may be nominated or proposed for nomination as members of An Bord Bainne.
