TRANSPORT ACT, 1964 (SECTION 6) ORDER, 1969. I, BRIAN LENIHAN, Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the power conferred on me by section 6
(2)of the Transport Act, 1964 (No. 30 of 1964), and with the concurrence of the Minister for Finance, hereby make the following Order, with respect to which, pursuant to section 6
(5)of that Act, a draft has been laid before each House of the Oireachtas and a resolution approving of the draft has been passed by each such House :
- This Order may be cited as the Transport Act, 1964 (Section 6) Order,
- The amount of the grant payable to Córas Iompair Éireann under section 6
(1)of the Transport Act, 1964 (No. 30 of 1964), shall be £2,650,
- GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 31st day of December,
- BRIAN LENIHAN, Minister for Transport and Power. The Minister for Finance concurs in the making of the foregoing Order. GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Minister for Finance, this 31st day of December,
- CHARLES J. HAUGHEY. EXPLANATORY NOTE. The effect of this Order is to increase from £2 million to £2,650,000 the annual grant payable to Córas Iompair Éireann under Section 6
(1)of the Transport Act, 1964 .
