Acts Referred to Sea Fisheries Act, 1952 1952, No. 7 Fisheries (Amendment) Act, 1959 1959, No. 28 Number 8 of 1970 SEA FISHERIES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1970 AN ACT TO AMEND THE SEA FISHERIES ACTS, 1952 TO 1963. [10th June, 1970.] BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS AS FOLLOWS: Increase of limit on advances to An Bord Iascaigh Mhara. 1.— Section 18 of the Sea Fisheries Act, 1952 , as amended by section 2 of the Sea Fisheries (Amendment) Act, 1959 , is hereby amended by the substitution of “(subject to the limitation that the total amount (disregarding interest) standing repayable in respect of them shall at no time exceed five million pounds)” for “(not exceeding in the aggregate three million pounds)”. Extension of borrowing powers of An Bord Iascaigh Mhara. 2.— Section 22 of the Sea Fisheries Act, 1952 , is hereby amended by the deletion of “temporarily by arrangement with bankers” and the insertion of “capital or” before “current expenditure”.
